Comeaux Furniture Appliance and Mattress is Hiring a Warehouse/Driver Helper Near Metairie, LA
HOURS/LOCATION:
Tuesday thru Saturday: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm (Or until the deliveries are completed)
Location: 3949 Euphrosine St, New Orleans, LA 70125
DUTIES:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Pull, inspect, and assemble merchandise for will call orders
- �� Pull, inspect, and assemble merchandise for delivery
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Assist with counting physical inventory
- Assisting driver with delivering and assembling merchandise in customers’ homes
- Work in all weather conditions
- The listed duties do not imply they are the only duties the employee must perform.
- The employee is expected to perform other tasks, duties and training as dictated by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse work
- Effective English written, reading, and oral communication skills
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to lift 125 lbs. without assistance
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs without impediment
